Manchester United face West Ham in an intriguing midweek Premier League fixture at the London Stadium.
Man United are the in-form team in the Premier League currently, taking 13 points from their last 15 available which includes four straight wins under new head coach Michael Carrick.
Those wins have come against Manchester City, Arsenal, Fulham and Tottenham, making it an impressive start to Carrick’s second spell in charge of the club.
Man Utd’s incentive for a fifth win in a row is to move above Aston Villa in third – albeit potentially only for 24 hours or so – and further boost their chances of Champions League qualification.
However, they are facing a West Ham side with renewed hope of avoiding the drop as they seek a win to move level on points with Nottingham Forest in 17th.
