Grammy award winner, Temilade Openiyi, globally known as Tems, has spoken out for the first time following her Grammy win.
Recall that the Nigerian music sensation won big at the 2023 Grammy music award ceremony held on Sunday night, February 6.
She bagged the “Best Melodic Rap Performance” category for her contribution to the 2022 hit song by Future featuring Drake “Wait for U.”
Speaking in an interview with Rolling Stone magazine, the ‘Try Me’ Hit maker said it’s amazing that she now works with several globally-renowned singers she used to listen to years ago
The 27-year-old singer also stated that she believes her Grammy win is just the beginning of her career.

I was jamming to them and now I am working with them, it is such a pleasure and I feel like this is just the beginning.
“The song, with U was taken from my record, Higher, they reached out to me and they told me they would use it as a sample and I felt it was amazing. I thought the song was interesting and amazing the way it got together.”
