Denmark, meanwhile, kicked off their campaign with 1-1 draws with Slovenia and England. They then drew goalless with Serbia in their final group game on Tuesday to finish second in Group C with three points from as many games. Although they are set to feature in the last-16, De Rod-Hvide have largely failed to impress and will need an improved performance to advance past Germany.
