Nottingham Forest have the chance to close the gap to Liverpool to just three points as they meet in the Premier League tonight.
Forest, of course, are the only team to have beaten the Reds this season. Nuno Espirito Santo’s side overcame Arne Slot’s team 1-0 at Anfield back in September and have shown that was no fluke.
Indeed, they sit third in the Premier League table and could even put themselves in a position for an improbable title challenge if they can inflict a second defeat on Liverpool.
The Reds were held to a disappointing 2-2 draw against Manchester United last time out in the League but have since lost to Tottenham in the Carabao Cup before beating Accrington Stanley in the FA Cup.
