Switzerland will square off against defending champions Italy at Olympiastadion Berlin in the round of 16 of the UEFA Euro 2024.
The two teams will meet in the competition for the second edition in a row after they met in the group stage in Euro 2020.
The Red Crosses enjoyed an unbeaten run in the group stage and finished behind Germany in Group A. After a 3-1 win in their campaign opener over Hungary, they played out 1-1 draws against Scotland and Germany.
The reigning champions began their campaign with a 2-1 comeback win over Albania but suffered a 1-0 loss to Spain in their second match. In their final group-stage match, they played out a 1-1 draw against Croatia.
