Tottenham entertain Manchester United in a heavyweight Premier League fixture on Sunday, with both sides under pressure.
Spurs endured a particularly bruising week, exiting both domestic cup competitions to leave only the Europa League on which to focus as an avenue for success this season. Ange Postecoglou may be without a whole host of key first-team players but there is little doubt the pressure is building.
The same could be said for United boss Ruben Amorim, too. The Red Devils have hardly improved since the former Sporting boss replaced Erik ten Hag, albeit they have tended to raise their game against so-called bigger opposition.
Still, it is a meeting of two of England’s biggest clubs in a state of crisis. Neither fully convince, which could well lead to an entertaining clash in north London.
