Popular Comic Nollywood actor, Quadri Oyebamiji Tomori, popularly known as Sisi Quadri, is dead.
This is coming hours after Anikulapo (Rise of the spectre) debuted on Netflix, a series where he featured.
A close relative who confirmed the news said, “the current information at my disposal is that he was admitted in a private hospital in Iwo 5 days ago after battling with hiccups for hours….”
His colleague, Adekunle Abolade, popularly known as Dodo Ede, announced the death of the Iwo-born actor in a post on his Facebook page, on Friday.
Abolade wrote, “Rest in Peace Sisi Quadri. I watched Anikulapo Series early this morning and saw him died in the film, so he will die in real life today😭 May Allah grant him Aljanat Fridauz🙏.”
Sisi Quadri, was born on December 25, 1979, in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria. He is a prominent Yoruba movie actor, specifically known for his contributions to Nigerian Nollywood films. Around a decade ago, he embarked on his acting journey, and it was his role in the film “Seranko Seniyan” that earned him the moniker “Sisi Quadri.”
He established himself as a comedic actor, delighting audiences with his performances in popular Nollywood movies such as “Aje Ni Eegun,” “Iya Oko Mi,” and “Omo Iya Oko.”
