Tekno Revived My Career When I Didn’t Have A Hit Song For Almost A Year – Davido

Nigerian superstar singer, David Adeleke also known as Davido has given credit to colleague, Tekno for giving him a career boost at a time he needed.

The DMW boss said Tekno brought him back into the mainstream music conversation as he did not have a hit song for nearly one year.

Davido made the revelation during an interview with media personality, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu on Bounce Radio.

He was asked by Ebuka if he is grateful to Tekno for writing his hit song, IF and the Omo Baba Olowo answered in the affirmative.

Davido said; “Till date I am still grateful to Tekno. Tekno brought me back, I didn’t have a hit for almost a year. Tekno wrote the song “IF” and he wanted me to record the song. He wanted me to do it because I am a good guy”.
