Three military officers deployed to participate in the Democracy Day Parade at the Eagles Square in Abuja on Monday, fainted during the event.
It was gathered that they were exhausted after having stood in one spot under the scorching sun for hours.
The ceremony featured performances by the Army, Navy, Air Force and the Police.
The Punch reports that there was confusion and tension when it occurred, but security and medical personnel rushed to the aid of their colleagues with stretchers.
The three officers were moved to the medical shed on the left side of the State Box where President Muhammadu Buhari was seated.
According to reports, no casualties were recorded as they were successfully treated and soon regained consciousness.
