Nigerians on Twitter are currently bashing a good number of Nigerian artistes including Fireboy, Asake, Wande Coal, and many more, for performing at Nigeria’s President-Elect Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Inauguration Concert.
In preparation for the May 29th inauguration of the President-Elect, a concert that was tagged “Renewed Hope” in honour of the APC flagbearer was organized, where over forty Nigerian artistes graced the stage to thrill the audience at the MKO Abiola National Stadium, Abuja.
The event, which was held on May 25, 2023, saw popular stars like Asake, Fireboy, Timaya, Naira Marley, BNXN (Buju), Waje, Brymo, KCee, Seyi Vibez, Ice Prince, and a host of others show up for Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
With a court case regarding the credibility of the election that announced Tinubu as president-elect still in play, any Twitter users have aired their opinion regarding the decisions of notable musicians performing at the concert.
While a faction of the audience saw nothing wrong with the artists’ performances, a sizeable number of others bashed the artistes for showing up at the event.

Expecting artistes whose bread depends on their music to reject a gig to perform at a concert because you don’t like the host is clownery.
Only artistes who care about TwitterNG validation will refuse the Tinubu’s gig…Stolen Mandate or No Stolen Mandate, business is business.…

Asake, Fireboy, Wande Coal, plus others who performed should also be ashamed of themselves; Money isn't everything.
