Unai Emery will look to extend Aston Villa’s remarkable nine-match winning run tonight as they host Manchester United at Villa Park in Birmingham.
After failing to win any of their first six matches this season, Villa have now won 15 of their last 17 outings and have clambered up to third-place in the Premier League.
League leaders Arsenal number among their recent victims, as do Man City and Tottenham, and Villa will hope to add another high-profile win to their portfolio on Sunday.
United, meanwhile, head to Birmingham off the back of a thrilling, if galling, 4-4 draw with Bournemouth at Old Trafford.
They lost the lead twice in that dramatic outing, prompting frustrated reactions from Bruno Fernandes and Ruben Amorim.
Things will get no easier for United, though, now Amad Diallo, Bryan Mbeumo, and Noussair Mazraoui have all departed for AFCON.
