After only just returning to the Spanish capital after the international window, Real Madrid make the trip to the Estadio Mallorca Son Moix where they will face Mallorca for a must-win La Liga bout on Saturday night.
With only nine league games left in 2025–26, every match is a final for a Los Blancos side desperate to catch up to Barcelona in the La Liga standings. Still four points back, Álvaro Arbeloa’s men cannot afford any more slip ups, or else they risk losing out on another major trophy to the Catalans.
Unlike their bitter rivals, who have to face Atlético Madrid in their first game back, Real Madrid have a much easier opponent in front of them: Mallorca. Martín Demichelis’s side sits in 18th place, currently eyeing relegation with only 28 points from 29 matches.
The 15-time European champions might be tempted to look ahead to the first leg of the Champions League quarterfinals against Bayern Munich midweek, but they must first handle business in Mallorca, something they failed to do in two of their last three trips to Son Moix.
