Manchester City require a win at the Etihad Stadium over Galatasaray if they are to secure automatic progression to the Champions League round of 16.
After a shock defeat by Bodo/Glimt last time out, City come into the final day of the league phase sitting 11th in the standings, level on points with three members of the top eight but trailing on goal difference.
Form has faltered of late, but City got back to winning ways with a 2-0 defeat of Wolves, and will hope to kick on as they host the reigning Turkish champions.
Galatasaray are holding onto top spot in the Super Lig, but have not fared quite so well in Europe, sitting 17th in the Champions League standings with just three wins to their name.
They can be reasonably confident of progression, but will also be keen to take all three points on offer and secure their place in the play-offs.
